Former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria and the founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has reportedly divorced his wife, Helen Oristejafor, after 25 years of marriage.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the
divorce comes after years of numerous rifts and conflicts between the couple.
Some close sources disclosed that Helen had another lover for years, while still with her husband.
It was further gathered that some church members were not happy over alleged hitting the pastor by the estranged wife during numerous arguments.
Helen was also said to have accused Pastor Oritsejafor of trying to kill her.
A source said; “Helen reportedly moved out of the matrimonial home and relocated to Britain with the kids and Pastor Oritsejafor has moved back to the house after abandoning it for almost a year,”
This is the clergyman’s second marriage after his first wife Stella, who co-founded the church with him but sadly passed on in 1996 following complications of diabetes.
He had married Helen about a year later
Pastor Oritsejafor and Helen have three children together including; Joseph, Ayodeji, and Ayodeta.
The pastor was the Pentecostal preacher to be president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
