Following the unabated speculations that Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo was against the ambition of his former boss, Bola Tinubu, the vice president has paid a visit to the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress and his running mate, Kashim Shettima .
Osinbajo had served as commissioner for Justice in Lagos under the administration of Tinubu while he was governor .
Osinbajo was also reported to have been chosen by Tinubu as the vice presidential candidate to president Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.
There was however a reported strain between the two men following the contest for the APC presidential ticket.
PLATFORM TIMES observed that since Tinubu became the standard bearer of the ruling party in June, Osinbajo had not participated in the APC presidential campaign activities.
But, on Wednesday, Osinbajo cleared the air as he visited both Tinubu and Shettima.
It was also observed that since the primary, both Osinbajo and Tinubu have been spotted at events together.
A source privy to the Wednesday meeting said “they are not enemies despite the fact that Osinbajo contested against Tinubu in the party’s primary in June.
“Osinbajo’s visit to the former Lagos governor is merely in the spirit of the Christmas season. There is no grudge between both men.
