The House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, vying to represent Abeokuta South Local Government Area, Ogun State, Chief Toyin Amuzu has donated the sum of one million naira for the energizing of a transformer for lacking communities.

Chief Amuzu however, cautioned Nigerians against repeating the same mistake of voting All Progressives Congress to retain power in the 2023 elections, lamenting that the ruling party lacks the willpower to create solutions to the numerous challenges bedeviling Nigeria considering their campaign promises.
He said, “The time for genuine change has come as the PDP with its years of experience in governance is ready to reset the Nation’s economy, work on insecurity, develop infrastructure, improve the general well-being of the people and restore the various public systems which are now being destroyed.
According to Amuzu, it is quite clear that this government do not understand that their basic function is to serve the people. This donation to energise a transformer and other various supports like this gesture to build a community hall and the need to provide water borehole projects to our people from me and other candidates of the PDP is to show our resolve to serve and work for the good of our society”.
“Some of us are not in government and neither are we holding any political position yet we have taken it upon ourselves to ensure the well-being of the people. I was at the Isabo area and was amazed that the people celebrated the Christmas in darkness, this we cannot stand as a Party. We will ensure we repair your roads and meet other needs when PDP gets to power, he said”.
In his words, “No responsible Government would neglect such a vital road in Olokuta where government had taken their lands for railway and would not compensate them with basic amenities which are their entitlements.
“As for us in PDP we are committed to the good of the people and we will continue to support the people and the communities to grow”.
Furthermore, Hon Idowu Olowofuja who is the PDP House of Assembly candidate for Abeokuta South State Constituency 2, said he was able to do 8 borehole water projects in each ward under his Constituency just like Chief Amuzu is doing and he is ready to do more, when elected.
He urged Nigerians to vote the PDP from top to bottom, stating that the PDP is known for its people oriented programmes which would create solutions to better the lots of the people.
