The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has promised to fasten the completion of the ongoing road in the state’s Ado Odo Ota local government, if given the chance to be re elected as the next governor of the state.
Engr. Salako-Oyedele said this on Monday, while meeting with industrialists, stakeholders, and residents of the Agbara, OPIC, and Eedu towns at the OPIC estate Agbara.
According to the deputy governor, the area which is one of Nigeria’s industrial hub is dear to the governor.
She pleaded for the governor’s reelection to bring about more development in the area.
“Ado-Odo Ota local government is the country’s industrial hub and the entrance to the economy, stressing that the Prince Dapo Abiodun administration would spare no effort to assure its unparalleled growth.
“We call for your support in the upcoming gubernatorial election in order to re-elect Prince Dapo Abiodun into office and bring greater development to the area. This local government has always provided the bulk of votes recorded during elections in the state.”
The deputy governor was accompanied by the Managing Director, Ogun State Property Investment Corporation, OPIC, Architect Fari Arole, the Commissioners for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ade Akinsanya, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe, and Transportation, Engr. Gbenga Dairo, amongst others.
The chairman of Ado-Odo Ota local government, Hon. Sheriff Musa, earlier in his address, lauded the current administration’s supports in the expansion of businesses and investments in the area.
Musa said the deputy governor’s visit was to further ascertain where urgent government involvement was required.
He further urged the people to re-elect the present administration for continuity of ongoing projects.
