The new year message by Ogun state governor ,Dapo Abiodun has sparked off requests and reactions from the residents of the state .
Abiodun in his usual character sent his best wishes to the people of the state for the celebration of 2023, saying, “I wish everyone a prosperous New Year. May God guide and guard us through this year, in peace and happiness.”
Shortly after dropping the message , many people reacted to the message, requesting for different things .
While a group wished him success in his second term 3lection, other group wished he loses at the polls for different reasons .
According to a resident of the state, Ganiyu Taiwo, “My Governor sir, I need New year beginning from you sir. I finished my NYSC last year and I studied Mechanical Engineering. I would be really glad if I can get a job opportunity from you sir.”
For Tolani , a bus for her school is more important than any other .
She told Abiodun “Get OOU the bus.”
Pelumi in her remark ,said “We’ve not had light in Ogijo for more than a year.
Election is next month, just a reminder.”
But, an angry resident, simply identified as Adelani said “lose in February please. Do this one thing for us abeg! Enough of the Daru-dapo.”
Another angry resident , Bamidele B O rhetorically asked “how much of the people money do you currently possess please? I want to know. You are not working in your state.”
Also expressing his mind, Braheemo said “I heard you are yet to complete car wash and Adatan road axis, please, kindly do something about that road Mr Governor!
However , a balm was provided for Abiodun by both Dosunmu Owolabi and one other person simply identified as Yourcool tech.
According to Owolabi, ” Happy New Year Sir. Get ready for your new four years.Omo Ogun Pataki.”
