An Ota Magistrates Court sitting in Ado-Odo-Ota in Ogun State has arraigned a 19-year-old man, Ibrahim Yahya for stealing of valuables worth N4 million.
Yahya was charged with burglary and theft after he was arrested by the vigilance group and handed over him to police .
The acussed person was reportedly apprehended on December 17, 2022, at about 0700hours at No 40, Adeniran Street, Sango-Ota, Ogun.
The defendant invaded the house of one Mr. Bolarinde Jonathan and stole one flat-screen TV, generator parts, and other valuables worth N4 million.
The prosecutor said the offences violated Sections 411(1)(2) and 412 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Yaya was granted a bail of N100,000.
