A family source who preferred to remain anonymous has debunked the media reports on the death of a 46-year-old herbalist, who reportedly slumped and died while allegedly having sex with a pastor’s wife at a hotel in Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The source claimed that the man died of a heart attack and contrary to the claim that he died of a native thunderbolt, popularly called “Magun”.
The family source saud the death might be as a result of the application of sex enhancing drugs by the deceased reportedly having several sexual activities with his wives and mistress in the last 24 hours.
The source further debunked that the woman involved was a pastor’s wife, saying , she was a pastor who was the herbalist’s mistress.
The source said the herbalist had two wives and had earlier had sex with his them before sleeping with his mistress which resulted to cardiac arrest .
The family source who fumed on the misleading media reports blamed the police of deliberating misinforming the public having known the truth .
The source said the herbalist demanded sex from the pastor after he invited her to the hotel over their continued discussion .
The source said “It was not a native thunderbolt that killed him. His death was a result of a heart attack because the woman explained that it was after they had sex that he started breathing abnormally. And instead of calling for people’s attention, she was panting and by the time she could call for the hotel management’s attention, it was already late because he died before they could rush him to the hospital.
“It was just a cardiac arrest but it was not a native thunderbolt because they said he used a sex energizer before having sex with her
“The pastor wants to hold an event at her church in which the herbalist has promised to give her money. It was the money the herbalist promised her that the pastor wanted to collect.
“When she called him, he asked her to meet him at the hotel. So, it seems like the herbalist usually makes use of energizer when he wanted to have sex and dont forget that he is hypertensive.
” After the herbalist gave the pastor the money as promised he then said he wanted to have sex with her again.
“So, after the sex, he was unable to breathe very well again.
“The mistake the woman made was that she called someone outside the hotel when she should have called the hotel management who could have helped her by rushing the man to the hospital.
“If she had called the hotel management, the man might have survived.” The source stressed
PLATFORM TIMES recalled that a middle-aged man slumped and died while allegedly having sex with a woman at a hotel in Ikere Ekiti, headquarters of the Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
Sources said the incident happened in the hotel room where the man, identified as an herbalist, went to meet the lady on Monday.
A source, who said the woman was the wife of a cleric in one of the churches in the area, expressed surprise at the incident.
