Nemesis has caught up with eight persons including a couple after allegedly killing three persons and sold their parts to some ritualists for money making ritual .
The suspects were caught by men of Ogun state police command after killing their latest victim in Ijebu-Ode .
Making confessional statement of their atrocities, a 36- year old herbalist spoke on the gruesome killing of a 26-year-old mother of two and two others in the Ijebu-Ode axis of the state.
The suspect, Lukman Oladele, narrated how he and his partner, killed, dismembered, and sold body parts of three victims to money-making ritualists.
Oladele said their last victim was lured by his partner, Taiwo Ajalorun, who he claimed introduced him to ritual killing about a year ago.
He said “On the 28th of December, 2022, my friend Taiwo Ajalorun informed me that he wants to lure his girlfriend to his house and that he will pass her over to me when he is done with her because the girl is wayward.
“He further said, we want us to kill her and sell her body parts because he needed to pay up a N30, 000 debt. So, I agreed and when the girl arrived I hid because he said he will call me to come in after he had had sex with her.
“So, once he was through, he called me and I pinned her to the bed while he strangled her to death. Thereafter, he cut off her head, legs, and hand. Her heart was removed as well.
“We wanted to sell the legs and hands the next day to our customers. But we had issues with selling the head because I wanted to sell it to my customers while he also wanted to do the same. When I asked for the head, he told me it had been sold but I had a strong feeling he was lying ”
“We sold human heart for N50,000, Leg N30,000.”
Oladele who emphasized that different parts of the deceased’s body were sold at different rates said that the heart was sold at the rate N50,000 and her legs N30,000 to our standby buyer.
He added that the body parts were sold out on Tuesday before their arrest on Thursday by the police.
“We sold the heart at the rate of N50,000 while the legs were sold at the rate of N30,000 to our regular customer, Akeem Bello. Likewise, some flesh was sold out as well. The person that bought the head is now at large.
… Police Tracked Us Down With the Deceased Phone
Narrating how they were arrested, Oladele noted that after they succeeded with the killing, Ajalorun gave the deceased’s phone to his wife who had since then been using the phone.
He stressed that the police had tracked them down to their location by calling the deceased’s phone which had led to their arrest.
“After we killed and cut the body into parts, Ajaolrun gave the deceased’s phone to his wife. And she had been using the phone since then.
“The police called the number and that was how we were tracked down and arrested earlier today.
… Criminals Will Be Visited By Full Weight of Law- Police
While he confirmed the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi gave strict warnings to criminals across the state to desist criminal activities or face the law.
Oyeyemi stressed that the only money ritual is hard work and prayer, saying,, we “hereby warn that those who are in the habit of killing human beings for the purpose of money making rituals should desist from it henceforth.
“As such persons will be visited by the full weight of the law. No such crime as ever been committed in Ogun state without being detected.
“And I want to advise members of the public, especially our young ones that there is nothing like a money-making ritual money ,it is hard work and prayer.
He, however, charged women to confide in others about their outings.
“Women should also be very careful. They should at least confide in one person whenever they are going anywhere. So that when something happens, we will know how to trace such a person.
“These people will face the full wrath of the law and they will be arraigned in court as soon as possible.”
