The Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Ogun state, Hon.(Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu on Friday stormed Odeda local government as parts of his campaign ahead of the coming election.
Adebutu who donated a 500KVA transformer to the Camp community within the Local Government area ,said it was to alleviate epileptic power problem suffered for over three years in the community .
Adebutu who also visited the Palace of Osile of Oke-ona Egba, to receive the Royal blessings of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso.
He also met the Baales, community leaders, religious leaders, youths ,students, party faithfuls and loyalists in Obantoko and Osiele .
In his address, Adebutu expressed his commitment to better the lots of the people of Ogun State with his ITURA DE agenda purposely designed to bring desired relief to the people of Ogun State.
He noted that Odeda, having the seven out of its ten wards mainly known for agriculture and a good number of farm settlements, will be provided with necessary supports to aid the development of agriculture and to encourage the farmers.
Adebutu also restated his commitment to grant Local Government autonomy if elected because development of a State can only be rapid when it comes from the grassroots.
Also speaking at the event, the wife of the PDP Gubernatorial canndidate, Yeye Adenike Adebutu appreciated the people of Odeda for their support.
She however, berated the current government for lacking empathy and assured women of their inclusion in the Ladi Adebutu led administration.
The event had in attendance the State Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Sikirulahi Ogundele, the Ogun Central Senatorial Candidate, Chief Olumide Aderinokun, the Federal House of Representative Candidate, the State House of Assembly Candidate, Party leaders and stakeholders across the State among others.
