A female teacher at Mrs F. Kuti Primary School, Abeokuta, Mrs. Adeboye Arike Olubukola has been kidnapped on her way to the school.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that she was kidnapped on resumption day, shortly after she left her residence at Gbonagun, Obantoko for the school .
One of the teachers who pleaded anonymity said Adeboye was kidnapped by unknown persons who operate a taxi in Abeokuta and had yet to connect with the family .
The source said “it happened on Monday January 9 when the school resumed.
” She left home, did not get to the school and was not seen at home .
“Later in the evenning , a message was received by her husband that she has been kidnapped.
“She sent a text message that she has been kidnapped and that she was in the bush. Later her number was no more going .
“Since Monday, we have been searching for him .
“She left Gbonagun Obantoko where she lives for her school, Mrs F Kuti .
“She left around 7:am and took a taxi .
” She is one of the teachers at Mrs F Kuti primary school.”
When contacted for response , the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi did not respond to the question asked on the incident .
