A 17-year-old boy, Noble Uzuchi has been arrested by Police in Rivers Stated for allegedly impregnating 10 ladies.
The command’s spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed on Friday, in a statement .
Iringe-Koko said the suspect was arrested alongside his accomplice, Chigozie Ogbonna, 29.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the duo and two other ladies, Favour Bright and Peace Alikoi, were allegedly running a baby factory in the state.
The police spokesperson said investigations revealed that when victims delivered their babies, the syndicate’s leader paid them N500,000 and thereafter sold off the newborn babies. Some of the babies previously delivered in the houses had already been sold.
The Police Public Relations Officer revealed that the 10 pregnant ladies had been rescued after the raid and arrest of the two suspects.
