A gang of unknown gunmen who abducted Sole Administrator of the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, Chris Ohizu, have beheaded him after they reportedly collected a sum of six million naira.
PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the victim who was kidnapped on Friday alongside two others after the gunmen razed some houses at his country home in Imoko in the Arondizuogu area of the LGA, was beheaded on Sunday.
It was learned that Ohizu’s killers published videos of the beheading with the phone of their victim on his WhatsApp status on Sunday.
The incident was confirmed by the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye, on Monday, noting that an investigation is ongoing.
