The Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) has announced the commencement of the 2024/2025 academic session, scheduled to begin on Monday, September 16, 2024.

The university management, in a statement released by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Dapo Oke,  has called for the return of both new and returning students to the campus as the new academic year kicks off.

Oke in the statement said of particular note is the directive for all 400-level students who meet the qualifications for teaching practice (TP) to proceed with their assignments from Monday, September 16.

The statement  read further that the  students are expected to report to their respective teaching locations as they fulfill this key component of their academic training.

Meanwhile, 200 and 300-level students are to commence their registration and begin lectures for the first semester of the session. Similarly, newly admitted students, commonly referred to as “freshers,” are to begin their registration process immediately upon their return to campus.

The university emphasized that freshers do not require the services of agents, staff, or intermediaries to complete their registration.

TASUED assured the new students that the registration process is designed to be simple, seamless, and user-friendly.

It stated “for those who may encounter challenges during the process, assistance will be readily available at the Students’ Affairs Office.”

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwole Banjo, expressed his well wishes to the entire university community for a successful and peaceful academic year.

He further emphasized the commitment of the institution to maintaining a conducive environment for learning and personal development.
