Tony Obia has left Ikorodu City for Northern Cyprus club, Mesarya Spor Kulubu, DAILY POST reports.
Obia signed a one-year contract with the former Cyprus League champions.
“Ikorodu City FC and Mesarya Spor Kulübü of Northern Cyprus have reached an agreement for the transfer of striker Tony Obia,” Ikorodu City announced on Tuesday.
“The 2019/2020 Northern Cyprus First League champions have added the striker to their fold for the 2024/2025 football season on a one-year deal.”
The young striker played a crucial role in the club’s promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League last season.
He featured in the Oga Boys’ 3-0 opening-day defeat to Kano Pillars.
