    Saudi League: Troost-Ekong scores in Al Khalood’s defeat to Al Hilal

    Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong, opened his goal account for Al Khalood in their 4-2 home defeat to Al Hilal at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium.

    The home team trailed 4-0 to the league leaders after 48 minutes.

    Kalidou Koulibaly, Malcolm, Ali Al Bulahyi and Renan Lodi were all target for Al Hilal.

    Hammam Al Hammami reduced the deficit for Al-Khaloood 19 minutes from time.




    Troost-Ekong further reduced the deficit from the spot in the 87th minute.

    Al Khalood have recorded just one win in the Saudi top-flight this season.

    They occupy 12th position on the table with four points from five games.
