An unidentified woman has been found abandoned around the Olaiya area of Osogbo.

DAILY POST gathered that the young lady who appeared disoriented and incoherent was found on Asikolaye Street on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Residents who first became aware of her presence in the area said they suspected she was a victim of ritual.
The residents urged the state government and relevant authorities to come to the aid of the young lady.

A resident simply identified as Baba Lekan disclosed that that the lady’s presence was not observed until Monday.

He added that he suspected that she may have been dropped off in the area during the night.

“The lady wasn’t here when we closed on Saturday, but we found her on Monday morning. She was well-dressed but could not talk or identify herself.

“The woman might have fallen victim to ritualists or Yahoo boys.”

Both the Osun State Police Command and the Osun Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, when contacted, claimed that they were not aware of the development.
