NPFL: Niger Tornadoes ready to compound Heartland’s woes
Niger Tornadoes forward Jonas Emmanuel said the team is ready to maintain their impressive performance on the road.
The Ikon Allah Boys are yet to taste defeat on away soil in this campaign.
Niger Tornadoes will lock horns with Heartland in a matchday five fixture at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.
Emmanuel is hopeful of a positive result against his former employer.
“The team is in good position; the technical crew and players have been working very hard,” Emmanuel stated in a pre-match interview.
“I just want to put in my own bit and help the team achieve its goals.
“We have played two away games and recorded two away wins; we are here in Owerri hoping to put in the desired effort in order to get something from the game.”
