Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has expressed her admiration for Canadian singer, Justin Bieber.

Speaking during her recent appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Tems described Bieber as “one of the purest souls I have ever met”.

She said the ‘Peaches’ hitmaker is kind and supportive.

She narrated how she got Wizkid and Justin Bieber to join her Coachella set earlier this year.

“I was meant to do this Coachella performance and Wizkid was in town so we asked if he minded coming on and he was like, yeah, of course, I’m going to come out.

“And then on the day of the performance, I got a text from Justin Bieber, he was like, ‘I’m around in case you want to bring me out.’

“Justin Bieber is one of the purest souls I have ever met, he’s so kind and such a supporter. And he came out, the ground ground was shaking. Everybody was loosing their minds. I was a bit startled. Justin, I love you!”

Wizkid, Tems and Justin Bieber worked together on the remix of the global hit ‘Essence.’
