The naira gained marginally against the dollar at the foreign exchange market on Thursday.
The naira appreciated by N2.56 to N1622.57 per dollar on Thursday from N1625.13 exchanged on Wednesday.
Similarly, on the black market, the naira gained to N1,700 per dollar from N1,780 exchanged two days back.
The development comes as the foreign currency transaction turnover dropped to $145.56 million on Thursday from $170.60 million on Wednesday.
The naira has continued to fluctuate since the begining of the week, with gains and losses recorded.
