Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has given praise to God after he escaped death in a ghastly car crash on Saturday night.
The Bayer Leverkusen attacker was involved in an accident that saw him hospitalised to treat his injuries.
Images sighted showed wreckage of a damaged car and a bloodied hand.
This comes after he led Bayer Leverkusen to beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
Boniface, who missed a penalty against Frankfurt, also scored the winning goal for Xavi Alonso’s side.
In a tweet on Sunday, Boniface wrote, “God is the greatest.”
