Covenant Microfinance Bank Ltd. has further extended its reach in Nigeria’s financial sector with the inauguration of a new branch in Abeokuta, Ogun State, reinforcing its mission to bring innovative financial solutions to the community.

Deaconess Ebipre Oluyemi, Chairperson of the bank, highlighted the branch opening as more than just a physical expansion, describing it as a gateway to greater opportunities for both individuals and businesses in the region.
In her address, Oluyemi noted that the Abeokuta branch would serve as a hub for tailored financial solutions aimed at meeting the diverse needs of the community.
“This branch will provide customised solutions to help individuals and businesses alike achieve their financial aspirations,” Oluyemi stated, expressing her gratitude to customers for their trust and support.
She lauded the dedication of the bank’s Board of Directors, management, and staff for their relentless efforts in turning the vision of expansion into reality.
Oluyemi further assured the people of Abeokuta of the bank’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, while contributing to the region’s economic growth.

Dignitaries at the event, including the Olubara of Ibara, Oba Jacob Omolade, praised the bank’s move to extend its services to the heart of Egba land.
Oba Omolade expressed confidence that the bank would play a pivotal role in boosting the financial stability of Ibara and Abeokuta.
“Any investment in Oke-Ilewo and Egba land will be profitable and grow to greater heights,” the traditional ruler said, lauding the bank’s Christian values and reputation.
Professor Abiodun Adebayo, speaking on behalf of Covenant University, also applauded the bank’s expansion.
He described Covenant Microfinance Bank as a “family bank” that has long been anticipated by the university community.
Adebayo expressed hopes that the new branch would replicate the success of the bank’s main branch, stating, “We pray that this branch will enjoy the same prosperity from the mother branch. Wisdom, success, and no negative report in Jesus’ name.”
The Honourable Commissioner for Urban and Regional Planning, Townplanner Olatunji Odunlami, also represented at the event, emphasized the bank’s potential to provide financial opportunities to the people of Abeokuta and Ogun State.
“This location marks an important milestone in our journey towards ensuring that every individual has access to the benefits and opportunities the bank provides,” Odunlami stated.
