Gov Idris approves N75,000 minimum wage for Kebbi workers

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State on Wednesday signed into law a new minimum wage of N75,000 for the state’s civil servants.

The governor signed the new bill in the presence of the National President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Mr Joe Ajero, and other executives of the union at Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

DAILY POST reports that Lagos, Rivers, Kogi, Ogun, amongst other states have also approved new minimum wages for civil servants.

While Lagos and Rivers approved N85,000, others are within N75,000 to N70,000.
