Lobi Stars recorded their first win under new manager Daniel Amokachi, courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Bayelsa United at the Lafia City Stadium on Monday night.
Ossy Martins scored both goals for the Makurdi club.
Martins has now registered five goals for Lobi Stars this season.
Ibrahim Mustapha scored Bayelsa United’s only goal of the game.
In Ilorin, Kwara United were held to a 1-1 draw by holders Rangers.
Abdulraheem Shola gave Kwara United the lead in the 42nd minute, while Kingsley Maduforo equalised for Rangers three minutes later.
