Two Heartland players have received call-up to the Super Eagles B team for the 2025 Africa Nations Championship qualifying fixture against Ghana.
The players are Ikechukwu Mgbemmena and Christian Nkwo.
Heartland announced the players invitation on the social media.
“We are thrilled with invitations handed to two of our players Ikechukwu Mgbemmena and Christian Nkwo to join the CHAN Eagles squad,” Heartland wrote on X.
The players are expected to join the rest of the team immediately after the matchday 10 fixture.
The first leg of the qualifying fixture is billed for the weekend of 20th – 22nd December, with the return leg a week later.
The overall winner will earn a berth at CHAN 2025 to be co-hosted by Kenya, Moore and Tanzania.
The finals will run from 1st to 28th February 2025.
