Former Ballon d’Or winner, Ruud Gullit, has picked Real Madrid as the favourite to win the UEFA Champions League this season amid changes to the format of the competition.
This season’s Champions League has worn a new look and there have been a number of surprises so far.
Speaking ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with AC Milan on Tuesday, Gullit was quoted by MadridXtra as telling MARCA:
“UCL favorites? It’s hard to choose a favorite for the Champions League.
“I’ve always liked Bayern, but Real Madrid is always the favorite. Don’t forget it!”
Real Madrid won the Champions League last season after beating Borussia Dortmund in thr final.
