Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen has jetted out of the country for a medical checkup.
According to SCORENigeria, Eguavoen will join the Super Eagles training camp in Abidjan directly from Belgium, thereafter.
The Super Eagles will take on the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture at the Felix Houphet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, next week Thursday.
The team will open camp for the game in Abidjan on Monday.
They will welcome the Amavubi of Rwanda to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Monday, November 14.
Nigeria lead Group D with 10 points from four matches, four points clear of closest rivals Benin.
The Super Eagles need one point from the clash with Benin Republic to guarantee a place at AFCON 2025.
