A senior Hamas official has said that the United States under Donald Trump must end its “blind support” for Israel in the war in Gaza.
“This blind support for the Zionist entity must end because it comes at the expense of the future of our people and the security and stability of the region,” Bassem Naim, the Hamas official said in an interview with AFP.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated former President Donald Trump on his reelection.
Netanyahu said Trump’s return to the White House will ensure a great alliance between Israel and America.
Although the winner of the presidential election had not yet been decided, Donald Trump is heading towards victory as the polling stations have been declared closed.
