Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer has named the top three signings former Arsenal sporting director Edu made for the Gunners before his departure from the club.
Recall that Edu resigned from his position on Monday afternoon.
He is expected to work for Nottingham Forest owner, Evangelos Marinakis’ network of clubs.
Speaking about Edu, Shearer said the likes of William Saliba, Gabriel and Martin Odegaard are Edu’s three best signings at Arsenal during his time at the Premier League North London club
“Looking through the list of the players Edu has signed at the club, there have been some great additions.
“The partnership of Gabriel and William Saliba has been key to what Arsenal are all about under Mikel Arteta though, and I would also add Martin Odegaard into the top three under Edu’s stewardship,” Shearer told Betfair.
