Okpebholo makes first appointment ahead of inauguration
Edo State’s Governor-Elect, Monday Okpebholo, has made his first appointment.
Okpebholo approved the appointment of Fred Itua as Chief Press Secretary ahead of Tuesday’s assumption of office.
Itua will begin his role immediately upon Okpebholo’s swearing-in.
Itua is a well-respected journalist and previously served as the Assistant Political Editor for The Sun newspaper.
Okpebholo of the APC is taking over from the outgoing PDP Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
