Nollywood screen goddess, Genevieve Nnaji, is on the news again. Last time her response to a question on what she would do with three Nollywood actors went viral; and people were happy that she was beginning to come out again.
This time, there is a viral statement allegedly made by the award-winning actress and producer of ‘Lion Heart’, about giving love another chance. This is happening after about two decades of singlehood. Here is the post.
”I’m considering giving love a chance again. It’s been almost 20 years since my heart got shattered by a boy I called a professional colleague. I focused on working on myself without giving in to love. I am human after all, I won’t keep scars from the past anymore because yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery. Let me give another real man a chance.” Na so my sister. We love you and we will support a wise choice, especially if he is not a celebrity. Just look for a cool, calm guy that will cherish and adore you to avoid another heart break. Yesterday is indeed history, so dear, shine on.
Her fans are praying she gets it right this time, if indeed she made that statement. Please take a look.
Uche Sam wrote, “If it comes to Genevieve Nnaji, I will marry her no matter her age. My woman crush from day one.” Johnson Olaiya Oni commented, “It’s not good to be alone my dear but be very careful so that you’ll not be hurt again by guys. May God guide you through it all.” I say the biggest Amen to that prayer.
Dare Adeyemi wrote, “Your choice, your decision, your wish and desire but I pray you get it right this time. All the best.”
Paschal Omenihu also reacted, “God is your strength. You are a wonderful person. Go out there and win again. Ada mba five we are proud of you.”
Orido Idiaghe wrote, “Before this talk, na im be say you don set/keep one man for corner.” “Exactly my thoughts,” Mson Tyoverr responded. Well I sincerely pray you guys are right.
Here is a funny one from Victor Nkasi, “That man is still waiting for you after 20 years. You both were meant to be together. Now the relationship will last forever. Ike is Emeka and Genevieve is Nnaji. Just say yes!”
Clement supports Victor saying, “That’s where Emeka Ike comes in ma.”
Even King Afamefuna goes with the flow, “Emeka Ike. I will support the trad.”
