The Ekiti State Police Command has launched an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of two teenage girls from different parts of the state.
The missing individuals have been identified as Miss Aderukuola Adedayo, 16, from Aramoko Ekiti, and Miss Omowumi Hassan, 17, from Ado Ekiti.
According to a statement from the police spokesperson, SP Sunday Abutu, Aderukuola left her home on December 14, 2024, and has not been seen since. She is described as dark-skinned, fluent in Yoruba and English, and does not have any tribal marks.
Similarly, Omowumi left her residence on December 26, 2024, and has also not returned. She is fair in complexion, stands at 4 feet tall, speaks Yoruba fluently, and has no tribal marks.
The police have urged anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the teenagers to come forward by contacting the nearest police station or calling 09064050086.
The Command has reassured the public that all efforts are being made to uncover the circumstances surrounding the teens’ disappearance.
