The Nigerian Conservation Foundation is inviting tenders for the reconstruction of the 1.6km stretch of the precast concrete Eastern Perimeter Fence at Lekki Conservation Centre, Km-19, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Peninsula II, Lagos, Nigeria. The project involves the design, supply, and installation of all required materials, including fencing components, gates, and associated works.
The project, with special consideration given to environmentally sustainable practices, is expected to enhance maximum security and isolate other illicit activities along the boundary of the facility. The design must make it impossible for unauthorized entry and feeding of the Centre’s monkeys along the public elevation of the new FENCE.
ELIGIBILITY
Only qualified contractors with experience in similar perimeter fencing projects may apply.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Tenders will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Experience and Reputation: Proven track record in constructing similar fences.
Technical Approach: The proposed method and quality of materials to be used.
Cost Proposal: Value for money while meeting all technical specifications.
Project Timeline: Adherence to the proposed construction schedule.
CAVEAT
This invitation to tender is in no way binding on the Foundation. The Centre would only be obligated when the contract with successful tenderer is signed by both parties.
The fence should be installed in a manner that guarantees quality, assures safety, and reduces damage to the surrounding ecosystem and ensures minimal disruption to wildlife and water sources.
DEADLINE AND SUBMISSION
Tenders (with other supporting documents, verifiable address, and requisite certifications) must be submitted as a single file no later than February 20, 2025, at 14:00 (GMT+1) to stephen.aina@ncfnigeria.org; cc: info@ncfnigeria.org. All tenders must include a full breakdown of the pricing (materials and labour), activity plan, timeline, and project completion date (specified in months).
All submissions will remain valid for a period of 4 weeks from the date of the submission of tenders.

NCF reserves the right to reject any or all tenders. The contract will be awarded only to the successful bidder upon negotiation and agreement on terms and conditions.
