The police in Ekiti State have arraigned one Adekola Femi, 27, at a chief magistrates’ court in Aso-Ekiti for allegedly stealing clothes.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, said on May 24 at about 8am, in Ado-Ekiti Magisterial District, the defendant stole clothes valued at N150,000, property of one Alegbeleye Alaba.
Inspector Oriyomi noted that the offence is punishable under Section 302(1)(a) of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State 2021.

Counsel to the defendant, Barrister Stephen Alabi, urged the court to grant his client bail, which Chief Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun granted in the sum of N20,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned till June 20 for hearing.
