Four persons have reportedly lost their lives in two separate accidents which occurred at an army checkpoint in Abaji, along the Abuja -Lokoja highway.
A witness said the first accident happened on Wednesday afternoon and it involved a golf car and a trailer near an army checkpoint along the highway.
He said the accident happened after the driver of the trailer, coming from the Lokoja axis, lost control and crashed into the golf car, adding that three persons died on the spot.
He said three other passengers from the car sustained injuries and were rushed to Abaji General Hospital and that the three corpses were handed over to their relatives.
He also disclosed that one person died in another accident involving a cyclist and a vehicle at Abaji roundabout.
