Controversial social media influencer, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, has alleged that some individuals are plotting to have her forcibly admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
In a post shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, the self-acclaimed “slay queen of social media” claimed that the move was being orchestrated under the guise of concern for her mental health, which she insists is in perfect condition.
According to Mandy Kiss, the alleged plan is unjustified and a deliberate attempt to silence or humiliate her.
She said her online persona and controversial statements are purely for entertainment and livelihood, not a reflection of mental instability.
“Please Nigerians, have mercy on me. I am not mentally ill. I am only trying to make a living. They are using an excuse to take me to a psychiatric hospital. Everything I do online is for content and to trend,” she pleaded.
The alarm follows weeks of public backlash after the influencer announced her intention to “set a Guinness World Record” by sleeping with 100 men in one day — a claim she later dismissed as a publicity stunt.
Her recent appointment as a brand ambassador for the Lagos State Kick Against Drug Abuse (KADA) initiative has also stirred mixed reactions on social media, with critics questioning the choice of such a polarizing figure to champion moral and behavioral advocacy.
Despite repeated controversies, Mandy Kiss has continued to maintain a loyal following online, where she shares lifestyle, relationship, and entertainment content.
As of press time, no public institution or family member has confirmed involvement in any psychiatric commitment plan.
