The Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD), Ogun State Chapter, has congratulated the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Lanre Ogunlowo, on his promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police.
In a congratulatory message on Saturday, the Ogun State Governor of ANBROAD, Gbenga Goke-Fadiran, described the promotion as a well-deserved recognition of Ogunlowo’s years of dedicated service, professionalism, and commitment to public safety.
Goke-Fadiran, in a letter addressed to the police chief at the Nigeria Police Force headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, said the elevation reflected Ogunlowo’s outstanding leadership and invaluable contributions to policing and community security.
According to him, Ogunlowo’s promotion to Assistant Inspector General represents a significant milestone in his career and underscores the confidence reposed in him by the police authorities.
“Your new rank is not merely a title but a testament to your unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership qualities, and the diligent service you have rendered to the Nigeria Police Force and the wider community,” he said.
The ANBROAD governor noted that Ogunlowo’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety of citizens had earned him respect among security stakeholders and members of the public.
He added that the association was proud to identify with the senior police officer’s achievements, expressing confidence that his new position would further strengthen policing and security across the country.
Goke-Fadiran also wished the newly promoted AIG success, wisdom, and strength as he assumes the higher responsibilities associated with the rank.
Ogunlowo recently rose from Commissioner of Police to Assistant Inspector General, a promotion widely regarded as recognition of his distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force.
