The All Progressives Congress has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, pegging its presidential nomination form at N70 million.
The party, in a statement issued on Monday night by its National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungun, said aspirants for the presidency would also pay N30 million for the expression of interest form.
According to the schedule, governorship aspirants are expected to purchase expression of interest forms at N10 million and nomination forms at N40 million.
The party further fixed the cost of nomination forms for National Assembly positions, with Senate aspirants required to pay N3 million for expression of interest and N17 million for nomination, while aspirants to the House of Representatives will pay N1 million and N9 million respectively.
For state Houses of Assembly seats, the APC set the expression of interest form at N1 million and the nomination form at N5 million.
The ruling party, however, introduced concessions for certain categories of aspirants, stating that women, youths and persons living with disabilities would only pay the full expression of interest fee and 50 per cent of the nomination fee.
The timetable signals the formal commencement of the party’s internal processes ahead of the 2027 polls, with further details on screening, primaries and appeals expected to be released in due course.
