The Convener of the Ogun West Initiative, Olootu Bolaji Adeniji, has urged residents of Ogun State to rally behind the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, insisting that he will deliver “exponential growth, development and progress” if elected in 2027.
Adeniji, who spoke at a media engagement in Abeokuta, said Adeola remains the “undisputed choice” for the office of governor, adding that his leadership credentials were built on years of service, dedication and measurable results rather than political sentiment.
He disclosed that the APC candidate would soon present a detailed manifesto and economic blueprint to the people of the state, describing the document as a roadmap designed to accelerate development across all sectors of the state economy.
According to him, Adeola’s agenda is focused on driving rapid economic expansion, improving infrastructure, and strengthening governance delivery in the Gateway State.
He said, “To the good people of Ogun State, continue to trust and embrace Yayi as the undisputed choice to be entrusted with the office of governor in February 2027. He represents competence, vision and progress.”
Adeniji added that the APC candidate is already preparing for his campaign engagements, stressing that his popularity and acceptance across the state were earned through years of political and public service impact.
He further called on residents to rise above distractions and support what he described as a future-driven leadership agenda anchored on capacity and credibility.
“His plans are designed to bring exponential growth, development and progress to the Gateway State. His popularity is not manufactured; it was earned through years of service and results,” he said.
The APC chieftain maintained that Adeola’s emergence as the party’s flag bearer followed a widely supported consensus process involving major political stakeholders across Ogun State.
He urged unity within the party ahead of the 2027 elections, saying the All Progressives Congress remains focused on consolidating its strength and retaining power in the state.
Adeniji concluded that Ogun State deserves a leader with “vision, capacity and credibility,” insisting that Adeola represents that leadership choice ahead of the 2027 governorship poll.
