The Students’ Union Government of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has commended the Rector of the institution, Arc. Dr. ‘Koye Jolaoso, for what it described as exemplary leadership and sustained support for initiatives aimed at promoting students’ welfare, unity and responsible leadership.
The commendation was contained in an appreciation letter signed by the 41st SUG President, Comrade Temitope Afolabi, popularly known as Big Afo.
The union expressed appreciation to Jolaoso for his cooperation, guidance and encouragement throughout its administration, saying his support contributed significantly to achievements recorded in the areas of students’ welfare and the overall well-being of the MAPOLY community.
The SUG president also acknowledged the Rector’s role in creating an environment that allowed the students’ body to participate meaningfully in issues concerning the development of the Polytechnic.
According to the union, the opportunity provided by the management for students to contribute to the institution’s development was an important part of the administration’s achievements.
The letter stated, “Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and giving the Students’ Union the space to contribute meaningfully to the development of MAPOLY.
“Your encouragement and leadership will remain an important part of the story of this administration.”
The union further appreciated the Rector and the management for their commitment to students’ interests, stressing that the administration’s achievements would have been difficult to attain without the cooperation and support of the institution’s leadership.
The students’ body prayed for continued wisdom, strength and good health for Jolaoso and members of the Polytechnic’s management, as well as greater accomplishments in their service to the institution.
The appreciation letter was signed on behalf of the Students’ Union by the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, ‘Yemi Ajibola.
