    Olowu Congratulates Media Professional, Ayo Arowojolu On His 56th Birthday

    The Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Adelola Matemilola, has extended his felicitations to Mr. Ayo Arowojolu, a prominent media professional and public relations icon, on his 56th birthday.

    Oba Matemilola described Arowojolu as a rare gem, an exemplary figure, and a patriotic Nigerian who genuinely loves his country.

    In his congratulatory message, Oba Matemilola commended Arowojolu’s unwavering passion, wisdom, and generous spirit, which have impacted many lives, and hailed him as an inspiration to others in the media industry, education, and social commentary.

    Oba Matemilola said, “I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of your birthday. It is an honour to celebrate with a person who has made a remarkable impact in various fields of endeavour

    “As you celebrate your birthday, I wish you more grace, joy, and peace. I pray that you continue to shine brightly in your future endeavours. May God continue to bless you, keep you in good health and grant you all your heart desires.”

    Arowojolu, who works at the Directorate of Public Relations at the Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta, is renowned for initiating Boiling Point Arena, a monthly platform for discussing governance and national development.

    He has worked in various sectors throughout his 33-year career, including the media, banking, and education.

    He served as the Acting Head of Corporate Affairs at Omegabank Plc from May 2000 to July 2002.

    As a journalist, he worked for several newspapers, radio stations, and television stations across the country.

    At the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Arowojolu served as the pioneer Coordinator of UNAAB Radio 89.5FM from October 2011 to 2019, where he had the rare privilege of establishing a broadcast station for the institution.

    Arowojolu was born on May 9, 1967, and obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from the then Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta, in 1990.

    He also graduated in Mass Communication from Chrisland University, Abeokuta, and obtained a Master of Communication Arts (MCA) degree from the University of Ibadan in 2001.
