The Lagos State Police Command has arrested five teenagers suspected to be involved in cultism.
This is also as some weapons shaped like small axes were recovered from them.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said this on Saturday as he posted pictures of the teenagers with the weapons on his Twitter page.
He disclosed that the boys were nabbed by men of the Nigeria Police Force attached to Iba division.
Hundeyin wrote, “These teenagers were arrested with weapons on them by @LagosPoliceNG Iba Division for engaging in cultism.
“When I was a teenager, I didn’t want to kill neither did I want to die. Someone explain to me like a two-year-old why our teens are attracted to cultism?”
