All Organising Secretaries of Delta All Progressive Congress, (APC) across 25 LGAs in the state have dared the Department of State Security Services (DSS) to make public any security report it has indicting Stella Okotete.

The group, which backed the nomination and appointment of Mrs. Stella Okotete as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, said they were unaware that the ministerial nominee was facing any criminal charge in the country.

Delta APC Organising Secretary, Hon Ejogbamu Okoro, who spoke with reporters, yesterday, in Asaba, Delta Capital, urged President Tinubu to put pressure on National Assembly members in order to screen and confirm Stella Okotete as Minister.

He urged President Bola Tinubu to strongly consider urging the National Assembly to screen and confirm Hon. Stella Okotete as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He noted that Mrs. Stella Okotete worked tirelessly for the party during and after the last elections, adding that she has paid her dues politically.

According to Ejobamu, the ministerial nominee from Delta State played a pivotal role during the campaigns across the 25 local government areas and supported the party’s electioneering campaigns on a day-to-day day basis.

He said the support provided by Stella Okotete during the presidential election was evident even in the creeks, stressing that her unflagging logistical support ensured that mobility, food, and water were available for all.

He said Mrs Stella Okotete ensured that the APC won the Presidential, National Assembly and Governorship elections from her unit, ward and local government areas.

He said, ” we are begging Mr. President who had initially nominated her that Deltans are happy that we have the likes of Stella Okotete as a Minister”.

“Being a Minister is to support the Party we still have another election coming by 2027, we need the likes of Stella Okotete who has been working tirelessly for the party to be sworn-in as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

“So, those of us who are organizing secretaries in our great party APC in Delta, we are begging Mr. President, having participated actively in campaign activities, to consider Stella Okotete as a Minister.”
