Katsina Police have apprehended a 65-year-old man, known as Haruna Wanzam, also known as Baba Tsoho, residing in Abuja quarters in Katsina Metropolis.
The arrest stems from disturbing allegations of him molesting a defenseless four-year-old girl.
The distressing incident came to light when the victim’s father reported it to the Dandagoro Divisional Police Headquarters, prompting swift action from detectives of the Katsina State Police Command.
During the investigation, which unveiled unsettling details, the suspect confessed to his involvement in the heinous act.
It was revealed that the suspect took advantage of the absence of the minor’s parents, who were away on a visit at the time, and allegedly lured and molested the vulnerable four-year-old girl.
The Katsina Police are determined to ensure justice prevails in this deeply troubling case.
