    Commonwealth Youth Organization  Unveils Ogun New Leadership At 20th Anniversary Celebration

    A historic moment unfolded at the Commonwealth Youth Organization Nigeria Ogun State Chapter as a new executive team took the reins during the organization’s 20th-anniversary celebration at the Commonwealth Office, Old Secretariat, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta.

    In a ceremony presided over by the Founding State Coordinator, Apostle Dr. Tola Adenekan, the newly elected management team received congratulations and guidance on the organization’s structures and objectives.

    Dr. Adenekan emphasized the need for the new executives to uphold integrity, transparency, and inclusiveness for delivering quality service.

    The celebration was not just a change in leadership but also featured enlightening Capacity Building Lectures on the Attainment of SDGs and Violence Against Persons.

    Resource persons, Ms. Mojisola Akinsanya and Mr. Sola Olufemi, underscored the interconnectedness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the role of comprehending global issues in local youth programming.

    The newly appointed executives include:State Coordinator: Ojo Emmanuel Enitan, Director of Administration: Olokadana Christopher, Director of Finance: Mrs. Olutayo Muinat Labake, Director of Programme: Tolani Sodipe, Director, Monitoring and Evaluation: Ojeleye Oluwasegun.

    Additional appointments were made, with Amuda Tajudeen Gbenga named as Director of Campus Extension, and Mrs. Babatunde Adetutu and Obadimu Olusola designated as Ex-Officio.

    Nine Local Government Administrators, representing various regions, were also appointed to strengthen the organization’s grassroots presence.

    In his acceptance speech, Comrade Ojo Emmanuel Enitan, the new State Coordinator, expressed his commitment to fostering unity and promoting the rich norms and culture of both the Organization and the Nation.

    He urged members to rally behind the leadership, emphasizing the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance.

    The Commonwealth Youth Organization Nigeria Ogun State Chapter embarks on a new era under the dynamic leadership of Comrade Ojo Emmanuel Enitan, dedicated to achieving the goals of unity and cultural promotion.
