Comrade Aliyu Yisa, the Acting President of NURTW, present at the inauguration, celebrated the lifting of the ban on their members, highlighting the positive relationship with the government.

He urged members to approach their responsibilities with honesty and integrity, emphasizing adherence to the law.

The state Commissioner for  Transportation, Gbenga Dairo emphasised the significance of members remembering their duties and obligations in conducting the association’s activities in Ogun State.

Mr Dairo told a delegation of the union led by the Acting National President of the NURTW, Alhaji Aliyu Issa – Ọrẹ that the lifting of suspension on restriction of NURTW activities in the state was premised on expectations that the union would comply with the specified terms and conditions of peaceful conduct.

Dairo conveyed the association’s commitment to complying with terms and conditions under which the restrictions were lifted.

“We are enjoining them all to continue working closely with the Ministry of Transport and the security agencies to ensure peace and security across our state.
