Kaduna Central Senator, Lawal Adamu Usman, has strongly criticized the Kaduna Peace and Tranquility Forum (KPTF) over their recent recall threat, branding their 14-day ultimatum as laughable and a desperate attempt by “meddlesome interlopers.”

In a statement released on Wednesday through his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Segun Olatunji, Senator Usman, popularly known as Senator LA, dismissed the KPTF’s demands as baseless and a ploy for political gain by its sponsors.

He urged his constituents and the public to ignore the group’s accusations and remain confident in his performance.

Senator Usman, who chairs the Senate Committee on Education (Basic and Secondary) and serves as Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Financial Matters, argued that the KPTF’s threats were an exercise in futility.

He emphasized that his roles in these critical committees reflect his dedication and hard work.

The Senator highlighted his significant contributions over the past year, including advancing the reconstruction of the Kaduna-Abuja highway and securing funds for educational and economic empowerment initiatives.

Notable achievements include a substantial N150 million empowerment program for 300 youths and financial support for students’ tuition fees, as well as his proactive efforts to address security issues on major highways.

Senator Usman’s statement criticized the KPTF’s lack of understanding regarding his achievements and described their criticisms as evidence of their ignorance and ulterior motives.

He assured his supporters that the recall threat is inconsequential and reiterated his commitment to serving Kaduna Central Senatorial District with integrity and dedication.

The Senator concluded by challenging the KPTF’s credibility and warned that their attempts to discredit him would not deter his focus on delivering results for his constituents.
