    Use Your New Title To Boost Egba Economy, Alake Charges New Ibuso-Aje Of Egbaland, Oni-Quadri

    The Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Michael Adedotun Gbadebo, has urged the new titleholder, Chief Mrs. Mojisola Oni-Quadri as the new Ibuso-Aje of Egbaland, to leverage her position to enhance the economic prospects of the region. 

    The event, held at the Ake Palace, drew a distinguished audience of dignitaries from both within the state and beyond.

    Alake said Chief Mrs. Oni-Quadri, the Chief Executive Officer of Oni Electronics, was honoured with the title following her significant contributions to the local economy. 

    The monarch said her efforts in promoting Egbaland’s economic growth through her business ventures led to her choice as the Ibuso-Aje of Egbaland .

    Alake said this  during the installation ceremony, held at the palace,Ake, Abeokuta.

     Prior to receiving this esteemed title, she was also bestowed the title of Gbegba-Aje of Kemta Iganran by the Kemta chiefs, led by Oluwo Kemta High Chief Rotimi Abayomi and High Chief Tosin Fadare, Seriki Egbaland, among other notable figures.

    Addressing the gathering, Alake commended Oni-Quadri for her exemplary role in business and economic development, urging her to continue her commendable efforts.

     He emphasized that her new title should serve as a catalyst for further economic advancement in Egbaland, acknowledging her as a role model for economic dynamism.

    In her response, Chief Mrs. Oni-Quadri expressed deep gratitude to the Alake and the chiefs of Egbaland for the honor. 

    She pledged to continue contributing to the region’s economic growth, reaffirming her commitment to leveraging her new role for the betterment of Egbaland.

    The installation ceremony was a vibrant celebration, featuring performances by Gospel juju musician Dr. Yinka Ayefele and Islamic singer Alhaji Bukola Alayande Ere Asalatu, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event. 

    The reception took place in the expansive Hall of the Ake Palace, reflecting the significance of the occasion and the community’s support for the new Ibuso-Aje.
