The National Coalition of Apostles, Bishops, Archbishops, and Cardinals (NCABAC) has advised Nigerians  over  the planned nationwide protest slated for August 1st.

The  coalition’s founder, cardinal, Olusegun  Robert, advised the people to exercise caution over the protest and  prayed for the government and the people over the challenges facing the country .

The Cardinal also  prayed for the state executive led by Bishop Dr. Gideon Bamidele Akintunde  as Chairman and  Chaplain  Apostle Dr.  F B Aladeselu as Deputy Chairman during the Ogun State Breakfast Meeting at the Government House in Abeokuta.

He also  prayed for the government, the people of the state and the country over the challenges facing the country.

Cardinal Robert while speaking at the event, emphasized the coalition’s commitment to supporting the government rather than opposing it.

“You can’t fight the government and win,” he stated, highlighting the coalition’s belief in working constructively with government leaders rather than engaging in confrontational actions.

He elaborated that NCABAC’s mission is to provide spiritual support and guidance to leaders, assisting them in unlocking the nation’s potential.

The coalition, according to Robert, has been actively involved in supporting government initiatives.

He cited their participation in significant national events, such as the official enthronement of the Ooni of Ife, as examples of their commitment to national progress.

“Our purpose is to pray for our leaders and support their policies, ensuring that the nation moves forward at all levels of government,” Robert explained.

During the meeting, new members of  state  executive were appointed to lead the organization at the national level.

Cardinal Robert urged these newly appointed leaders to make a significant impact during their two-year term, emphasizing that all officers serve for a maximum of two years to allow for new ideas and perspectives.

“If you are unable to accomplish your objectives within two years, it is best to relinquish your position,” he advised.

The event also featured remarks from Archbishop Dr. Francies Shopekan, NCABAC’s National Vice President of Publicity and Media Communication.

Archbishop Shopekan addressed the challenges facing Nigeria, particularly the lack of unity within the Christian community.

He argued that the division among churches weakens their collective influence and makes them susceptible to manipulation by political figures.

“When we are united, we become a force that cannot be ignored, a threat to the devil and to any government,” he asserted.

Archbishop Shopekan highlighted the ease with which politicians exploit the disunity among various Christian denominations, such as the Cherubim and Pentecostal churches.

He claimed that politicians often divide these groups by offering financial incentives, thereby weakening the church’s collective voice.

“They’ve divided the church because they know that we will not agree,” Shopekan lamented.

In attendance include, His Grace, Elder Apostle Jacob Adetokunbo Adeaga JP, the Secretary of Ogun State chapter of  Christian Association of Nigeria, who was decorated as one of the National Advisory Council members

The planning committee was also  prayed as they are planning  the state  inauguration holding  in  November 16.
