    FCT Police track down Toyota Corolla stolen at gunpoint, arrest suspect

    Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT police command have recovered a Toyota Corolla vehicle with REG NO: ABC 258 LD, reportedly snatched at gunpoint in the nation’s capital.

    The vehicle, which was stolen on May 2nd along Kuje-airport road was tracked down by the police and recovered on Saturday, August 17.

    The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh made the revelation in a statement she issued on Sunday.

    She stated that the suspected armed robber, Micheal Uke, was arrested when the vehicle was tracked to one Ifego Guest Inn in the Jabi area of Abuja.




    The PPRO stated that “the suspect had replaced the registration number on the vehicle with another, reading REG NO: AGD 146 JP. During the search, one (1) POS machine, one (1) knife, glass dissolving chemicals, one (1) military jungle hat, and the original REG NO. of the vehicle were discovered in his possession”.
