Raheem Sterling’s nightmare at Chelsea could end up in the winger fulfilling a childhood dream if he joins Manchester United before the transfer window closes, according to UK Mirror.
Sterling has been banished from Enzo Maresca’s first-team squad.
The Blues have also offered the England international to Aston Villa.
However, a dream scenario could see him move to Old Trafford, with Jadon Sancho moving in the opposite direction amid rumours Chelsea are interested in a deal.
Sterling has been stunned to find himself out of favour at Chelsea while Sancho’s fallout with manager Erik Ten Hag last season was well-documented.
And there’s evidence to suggest Sterling, who has played for Manchester City, would be in favour of a move to the red half of the city.
